Spine Rehabilitation

Spine rehabilitation at Broken Arrow Physical Therapy is a comprehensive program. This program consists of hands-on techniques to assist patients in achieving goals and in returning to a healthy lifestyle. On the first visit, each patient will undergo a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation, the therapist will pay close attention to imbalances in muscle groups or abnormal spinal mechanics that may be exhibited. Once the evaluation has been performed and the problem identified, the therapist will utilize manual therapy techniques, trunk stabilization (core strengthening), flexibility exercises, and patient education to allow the patient to progress to a home exercise program and self care. The therapists at Broken Arrow Physical Therapy are trained in numerous techniques for treating the spine. Each therapist has amassed numerous hours in continuing education to ensure that each patient receives the highest quality care possible.
